The conference “Proper Preparation of Clinical Trials—Insights and Experiences” was successfully held on June 26, 2024. Organized jointly with Sacura GmbH and hosted at the IHK Düsseldorf, it drew experts from various aspects of clinical research.

 

Trials24’s CEO, Dr. Tobias Kruse, detailed how social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook can effectively leverage targeted video advertisements to attract clinical trial participants. Dr. Kruse emphasized the potential of these platforms to reach a diverse demographic, significantly improving recruitment outcomes.

 

The conference featured an agenda that included discussions on regulatory requirements, practical pitfalls and lessons learned, preclinical testing, and the unique challenges of clinical diagnostics. Attendees gained insights into the typical mistakes identified by auditors and strategies to avoid them. The event also spotlighted the role of startups as sponsors in clinical development, offering a fresh perspective on driving clinical trials forward.
